Something unique about the Porsche 918 Spyder is
that it is aspirated by a 4.6-liter V8 engine, with two electric motors in
addition to this. This mid-engine plug-in hybrid sports car carries a
lithium-ion battery pack which provides an all-electric range of 12
miles.
In 2013, the 918 set a Nurburging lap time of 6:57
on a 12.8 mile road course, making it the first series production street-legal
car to do the track under 7 minutes. Top speeds range around 211 mph,
eliminating any doubt that this car is as much fast as it is exotic.
