Worcestershire, now produced by Royal Enfield at Chennai, a company originally
founded by Madras motors to build Royal Enfield motorcycles under license in
India
The
Royal Enfield Bullet has the longest unchanged production
run of any motorcycle having remained continuously in production since 1948.The
Bullet marquee names derive from the British company having being a
subcontractor to Royal small Arms Factory in Enfield, London.
Royal Enfield has officially confirmed that they
will cease production of their 500cc engine currently used in the
Classic and Bullet models. The company will upgrade its lineup of 350cc motorcycles
